“through the application of self-care management, one can begin to address the trauma within.”
– Phillip Prospers
On Thursday, September 2nd 2021, participants can expect to experience a conference that’s renewing and healing.
The Black Om is a guide for healing the wounds of the miseducation of the black soul. Individuals in our communities don’t have to accept the conditions and forces of society to conform to a forced culture of trauma, poverty thinking, unhealthy living, crime, hate and fear. The Black Om teaches one that the power is in them to breathe and be self-determined to live a healthy, happy life.
“Heal Black Body, Heal”
So many people live through trauma and anxiety. Living through trauma has become normalized (even “civilized” in our culture). Trauma is killing us. Trauma is affecting us to fight one another, causing family dysfunction and more. This conference will provide education in how individuals can replenish their spirit through breathing, healthy living, writing, and moving.
